World Trigger is an ongoing Japanese manga written and illustrated by Daisuke Ashihara that has appeared in Shueisha’s Weekly Shōnen Jump magazine since February 2013.
The Cortex Plus system by Margaret Weis Productions is a toolkit RPG system. Other RPG’s using the Cortex Plus system include the Leverage RPG, the Smallville RPG, Marvel Heroic RPG, and the Firefly RPG. The system itself is somewhat modular and very adaptable for any genre and game type. This is why The World Trigger RPG is using this system as it’s base, with modifications from elsewhere as necessary.
